Ufosa Foundation Education Programme:
Books For South Africa
Welcome aboard, BRITISH AIRWAYS!

Dear Friend,

Over the last many months British Pilot Robert Vallier's
Ufosa Foundation has been working hard to put into place it's Education Programme of Books For South Africa.  Our aim is to establish a 1,000 book library in each of the Schools in our chosen 30 communities in South Africa, beginning with the first 15 Schools visited in the inaugural Unity Flight Of South Africa last October.

As part of that effort, we are delighted to be able to announce now that British Airways have kindly agreed to cargo, for free, Ufosa Books out to South Africa!

Children at the Lindelani School in the Durban area pray for good things to come their way.  The Ufosa Foundation plans to deliver!

Books for our South Africa Schools are being donated NOW in the UK by school children, teachers, schools and members of the general public, helped by good media coverage especially by BBC Southern Counties Radio.  We are at 1,600 books, and the number is climbing fast.  Full and detailed cataloguing by Ufosa staff is under way.

Having a clear out at home?  Do you have some books that you can donate to us, or a UK school that you can get involved through which other children and parents can be contacted and books donated?  If so please make contact, we would love to hear from you.  We would like reference books, atlases, dictionaries, classic novels, young children's story books, text books, for children aged between 8 and 17 years.

Robert Vallier presents the first book of the coming Library last year in the first Unity Flight of South Africa to Lindelani School
Principal Mr Louis Nyathi.

The Libraries are set to be delivered later this year, when Unity Flight #2 takes place.
