The Ufosa Foundation was founded by British Pilot ROBERT
VALLIER with a view to assisting underprivileged or disadvantaged people, especially
children, all round the world. Ufosa stands for United Funding Of Special Areas.
Since then, we have helped over 5,500 children in South Africa as well as many
children and families in the UK. We have a growing number of committed people working
on Ufosa's plans both in the UK and in our
Offices in the USA and South Africa.
We began in South Africa. Robert flew 2,500 miles in a Cessna 182 light
aircraft in the first South Africa Unity Flight, to launch Ufosa in South Africa. We established links with the first 15 of our chosen
30 Communities - so we know first hand about their difficulties and what
Ufosa can do to help them.

Then, we began to assist children and their families in the UK, when we
launched Touch The Sky as our flagship UK programme, taking ill and handicapped kids and their
parents up in the air to give the family some much-needed respite. The programme was
immensely successful, and is being expanded in 2012.

We also now have a growing number of charity shops in the UK, and aim to
establish our retail stores all over the country. We rely heavily on Volunteers - Like

We have a great many other Special Areas in mind where we would like to be
helping. Over time, we at Ufosa will
be implementing our plans and broadening our activities further.
As with any charity and non-profit organisation, funding
remains a constant worry and struggle. You can help by donating to
Ufosa using a link on this
site.
In these difficult economic times, the number of people
around the world who need help - the disavantaged, the sick, the handicapped and terminally ill
- is ever-increasing. Ufosa plans to do whatever it can to provide that
help.
